4th Annual Nonprofit Mailer Symposium February 5, 2009

RMI held its 4th annual Nonprofit Mailer Symposium in DC last week; this event was created to bring together nonprofits to have an open discussion of their accomplishments and concerns. Conversation flowed as we enjoyed the southern fare at Acadiana, started off by a DMA overview presented by Kelly Browning, Executive Vice President and COO of American Institute for Cancer Research, and immediate past president of the DMA Board of Directors. The agenda covered specific topics of Housefile strategies, Donor Recruitment and Creative. There was this year, as always, a tremendous amount of discussion and conversation related to Online and Multi-channel marketing and how everyone is utilizing the numerous channels.

The attendee feedback we’ve received tells us this event is consistently insightful and informative for all attendees.

Would you like to attend next year? You do not need to be a client to attend; send your contact info to Becky Terhaar to be added to our invite listing.

Active and Affluent Republican Political Donors February 5, 2010

Republican ButtonActive and Affluent Republican Political Donors has added updated counts and new segments to the file including:

• 19,900 3rd Quarter '09 Donors (9,600 $250+ Donors)
• 29,000 4th Quarter '09 Donors (10,800 $250+ Donors)
• 49,000 Total Donors (20,500 $250+ Donors)

Our list owner would like to point out that as the 2010 mid-term elections approach, the Republicans appear to be getting back in the mail.  A surprise Senate victory in Massachusetts and a number of endangered Democratic incumbents give the GOP hope for gaining multiple seats in November.

Here are a group of affluent and involved donors who have kept the faith through the party's darkest days following the 2008 Presidential election.  To say they are committed is an understatement.  And, their generosity is demonstrated by their large contributions to Republican candidates.

Sample Usage: Citizens Against Government Waste, Conservative Party of New York, National Republican Congressional Committee, Republican National Committee, and more.
